Gazella is now recruiting a Vice President Finance to one of EF’s international divisions, with an opening in Zurich_. _We are looking for a driven and communicative person who shares EF’s core values. As the VP of Finance, you will report directly to the President and be responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial management. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, manage the company’s financial performance, and support business growth. In this role, you have the opportunity to make a massive impact on the organization.

- Leading and managing a team of finance and business intelligence professionals, including hiring, training, and development.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans that align with the product’s goal and objectives.
- Manage the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and reporting to the owners.
- Oversee the accounting function, including the quarterly-end close process, yearly audit and ensuring financial statements and reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Manage the company’s cash flow, including cash forecasting and cash management.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and manage relationships with our central tax team.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize the company’s exposure to financial risk.
- Provide financial analysis and actionable insights to support decision-making across the organization through the Business Intelligence team.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors.
- Show the qualities of a good role model of EF’s core values.
- At all times, treat the business and organization as if you owned the company yourself, and take a long-term view to do the right thing.

**Your background**:
You have a business degree from a top university in managerial finance & accounting or economics. To suit this role, you have at least 8 years of finance
- and business experience. You have an impressive resume with proven track record as a business partner to commercial operations. Furthermore, you have a great understanding of accounting and management reporting, and you possess excellent analytical skills. Additionally, we see that you have worked with auditing, accounting, controlling, as a Finance Manager, or as a CFO in a small to mid-sized company.
