Are you a recent graduate with excellent quantitative skills and an interest in the financial industry, looking for an exciting internship in Risk Management? Our Quantitative Risk team responsible for the risk methodology wants to hear from you

We are looking for a bright, dedicated team player to join SIX for a 6-month internship with entry date January 2024 or February 2024. You will be providing hands-on project support to help enhance our risk models to the next level. The role will be based at our Zurich office and depending on the workload, occasional homeoffice days are possible. You will also be working closely with our internal and external partners.

**What You Will Do**:

- Develop, improve and maintain risk models and procedures to manage risk for Clearing and Settlement
- Project-based work including documentation, testing and project management
- Deliver ad-hoc and contribute to the development of regular risk analyses
- Presentation of risk models, methods and results
- Liaise with the international offices on quantitative risk topics, in particular with Oslo, Norway

**What You Bring**:

- Experience with data processing tools and databases as well as statistical programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB
- Strong mathematical, analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills essential
- Ability to work independently to a high standard in set timeframes
- Fluent in English
