**Position Description**

The Senior Finance Manager will support Urovant's global expansion and growth and will act as the finance business partner for Urovant's international team as well as the Global Technical Operations, CMC, Supply Chain and Quality teams. He / she will work closely with the Finance and Accounting Team located in the US and will report to the Executive Finance Director for International Operations. The position is based in Zug, Switzerland.

**Key duties and responsibilities**

The Senior Finance Manager shall be responsible for all accounting, planning and reporting activities related to Urovant's international operations. More specifically, he / she shall:
**Accounting and reporting**
- Participate in the month-end closing, in order to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the financial results
- Review the monthly payroll prepared by the payroll service provider
- Perform variance analyses and comments on major deviations
- Analyze inventory risk for obsolescence and maintain accounting of inventory reserves based on the outcome of the material review board
- Prepare cost adjustments and journal entries in order to ensure accurate inventory valuation
- Collaborate with CMOs and Supply Chain as needed for inventory reconciliation and review inventory account reconciliations
- Track and report technology transfer expenses and participate in project team meetings
- Prepare and present monthly financial reporting to Senior Management and to the TechOps/ CMC/Supply Chain teams
- Participate in monthly S&OP meetings and present updates on inventory valuation
- Ensure tax fillings for the Swiss entity (VAT, capital tax, income tax)

**Financial planning**
- Lead the financial planning processes for the TechOps, CMC, Supply Chain, and Quality functions (quarterly forecast, budget and long-range plan)
- Be responsible for the annual standard cost development with thorough understanding of inputs and determine transfer prices in accordance with intercompany agreements
- Support the CMC team in the determination of clinical stage products costs
- Track and report technology transfer expenses and participate in project team meetings
- Provide insight and recommendations to optimize production costs and costing information for business cases developed by commercial teams

**Compliance**
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedure on all financial cycles
- Coordinate physical inventory counts at multiple CMO and 3PL sites
- Assist with and ensure successful internal and external audits

**Education and experience**
- Bachelor or Master's degree In Business Administration or Economics
- Accounting certification (CPA / CIMA / CMA) preferred
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, reporting and / or FP&A in the life sciences industry
- Understanding of the product life cycle, from clinical development to commercialization

**Essential skills and abilities**
- Ability to understand the manufacturing environment and the associated financial processes.
- In-depth experience in cost accounting and manufacturing processes
- Advanced knowledge of financial and manufacturing IT systems
- Detail oriented with a high level of ethics and integrity
- Experience in establishing and maintaining internal controls (SOX)
- Knowledge of the IFRS accounting standards
- Strong collaboration skills and flexibility to work across multiple time zones
- Able to set priorities and meet specific deadlines in a changing environment
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced company environment
- Fluency in English and German required.
