Group Operational Risk Manager

**Your team**:
You will work in the Group Risk department, part of the Corporate Functions division, which includes the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Organisation & Digital, Risk and Tax departments.

Working for the Group Risk department, which is involved in monitoring the Pictet Group’s risks, you will be part of the Operational Risk Management team.

**Your role**:

- Contributing to the efforts to develop a coherent and smart framework (proactive, uniform and integrated) for managing risks within the Group that takes into account the requirements for a sound internal control system. This would encompass risk events investigations, external risk events and scenario analysis.
- Overseeing the adequate and effective implementation of the framework across the Group.
- Providing support for the implementation of a strong first line of defence through risk awareness and by challenging risk management and internal control practices (e.g. RCSA, issues and actions management).
- Performing ad hoc thematic reviews or special investigations whenever appropriate or requested.
- Providing Group management and the governing bodies with information on the risks facing the Group and on mitigating action.
- Compiling risk maps, risk profiling and risk appetite statements for the Pictet Group.
- Identifying trends and emerging risks to which the Group might be exposed.
- Holding regular meetings with the risk managers of the business lines to exchange information.
- Ensuring you have in-depth knowledge of the different business models employed by the business lines.
- Providing support for risk management digital and data analytics initiatives, in particular by acting as product owner for the Group GRC tool (MetricStream).
- Taking a proactive approach to coordinating risk management activities with overseas risk management teams.

**Your profile**:

- University degree: Master’s degree in Finance or a postgraduate diploma (e.g. FRM).
- At least five to seven years’ experience in a similar role with strong external audit background preferred.
- Excellent command of French and English.
- Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
