Commis de Cuisine (100%) - Start Date: April/ May 2024

Bijoux Catering is a young and dynamic company that adapts to the demands and expectations of a hugely diverse range of customers providing all the refinement of international cuisine. Whether for private jets, commercial flights, private or corporate events, or business meals, Bijoux offers a range of tailor-made services for a specific and professional clientele.

We are looking for an**:Commis de Cuisine **with 100% work capacity, who will be preparing menus in collaboration with colleagues and ensuring adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations. You are preparing ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.).

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining standards of hygiene
- Mise en Place, preparation
- Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation
- Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
- Follow the guidance of the Chef de Partie
- Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation

Your Profile:

- Have previous experience in kitchen
- Passionate about food cooking in a high pressure kitchen
- Versatile to work in all sections of the kitchen

(i.e. fish, pastry, butchery,)
- Ability to multitask
- Work efficiently under pressure
- Learning on the job
- Resilience
- Teamwork

**Requirements**:

- Profiles with a valid Swiss passport or Swiss work permit (B/C) will be only considered
- Availability as of April/May 2024

**Job Type**: 100%

**Salary**: CHF43’000.00 - CHF60’000.00 per year

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Kitchen: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English Fluently (required)
- German Fluently (preferred)
