**About us**:
The Performance Media & Search Manager with work closely with the Media Advertising Manager to manage conversion media channels, playing an instrumental role in shaping local market digital marketing plans and execution. This person will work closely with Category Media Managers and Direct Trading team to develop paid media strategies that capture in-market audiences to convert in an efficient way which balances with brand objectives
**About the role**:
Performance media planning and buying:
- you’ll be the performance media expert, working alongside the Direct team, brand category managers and our media agency to translate briefs into best-in-class performance media plans, focussed on delivering our ecommerce sales target.
- Trends - Keep abreast of changing media consumption trends and purchasing patterns to ensure the Switzerland business continues to transform its growth in its direct business. Review new technologies and keep on top of new digital marketing trends and opportunities.
E-commerce trading:
- you’ll ensure we exceed our paid media revenue target and will obsessively look for ways to overachieve and optimise. On a daily basis, you’ll identify opportunities for incremental revenue and spend and you will optimise your existing plans to make sure conversion is maximised. You’ll balance investments across search, social, display, affiliates and retargeting to achieve maximum revenue.
PPC / Search:
- you’ll be a go-to specialist in paid search, with hands on experience in running search campaign execution and optimisation through the funnel, maximising ROAS through continuous test and learn, and reporting to demonstrate channel performance in customer acquisition and ecommerce conversion goals. Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
Retargeting through social and programmatic:
- you’ll have experience in managing retargeting campaigns across programmatic display and social media, using appropriate segmentation to determine the best ad and message to encourage revisit and efficient conversion.
- Management of remarketing pools across various channels of activation and define remarketing strategy
Full funnel thinking:
- Whilst you’ll be focused on conversion media, this role will work alongside Category Media Managers who will focus on upper funnel. You will be required to understand awareness and consideration media, and the impact upper funnel activities have on conversion. You’ll also partner with our owner experience team to enhance our owner’s experience of Dyson, delivering more efficient performance longer term.
Media Agency:
- You’ll work with our media agency on a daily basis, optimising and tracking our performance media execution, providing insights and recommendations to achieve media objectives / goals.
- You will be the point of contact to provide all the assets/creatives for your channels/campaigns
- Execution & Budget Management - work with the media agency team to achieve KPI, with documented reasons for the allocation of spend by activity type and time and with clear ROI objectives and measurement for each activity. Manage spend to within budget & maintain clear records
Measurement and reporting
- Ensure appropriate measurement of performance media effectiveness against target, demonstrating media effectiveness and ROI
- Work with the Media Managers in developing and deploying test and learn that aligns to local market’s Digital Maturity Roadmap.
- Understanding of online attribution methodologies to inform media planning
- Surfaces insights and learnings to share with the business on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Other - Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that broadly fall in the purpose of the role, fix things that need fixing, identify problems and find solutions.
**About you**:
Experience
- Ideally between 4-6 years of digital marketing experience. Previous agency experience will be beneficial
- Passionate about online & the opportunities it brings to drive brand awareness
- Proven experience leading and collaborating within cross-discipline teams and agency partners
- Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects with competing timelines simultaneously
- Must be adaptable to a fast-paced environment & ever-changing environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit; must be able to deal with ambiguity and willing to take risks as needed.
- Self-motivated, objective, enthusiastic, inquisitive, committed, flexible.
**Skills**:
- High level of communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with at least one analytics reporting tool.
- Good knowledge of platforms like Meta, DV360, SA360, Google marketing platform is a bonus
