**About the role**

We’re happy to get an People Operations Champion onboard, who is ready to work agile in a scale up organisation, especially in the blockchain industry that’s always pushing boundaries. Reporting to the People Operations Manager, you’ll be joining a fun team working at the forefront of new ideas that are built within our People & Talent department. You will take ownership of the day-to-day operational activities and ensure continuous operational excellence.

- Responsible for ensuring a flawless administrative entry, exit and life cycle process for internal and external employees
- Own and oversee all activities around Sygnum’s Onboarding Day
- Treat employees as internal customers and increase their satisfaction
- Modernize and digitalize outdated, bureaucratic HR systems, including payroll and applicant tracking software.
- Support employees on a day-to-day basis and answer questions about benefits and company policies
- Keep track of and analyze HR metrics
- Proactively look for process improvements and automation to support the People and Talent team while at the same time taking ownership of execution
- Work directly with insurance providers to onboard/offboard employees and provide updates for employee leaves of absence
- Process and answer labor law and general questions from employees at all levels
- Act as point of contact for internal and external audits and manage employee data and track employee information including annual trainings, permit expiration dates, etc.
- Responsible for preparing the interim and final work certificates, as well as support our People & Talent team for various projects

**What you offer**
- 3+ years of experience in People (HR) operations
- Fluency in German and English is a strong must
- Experience in operating an HRIS software (SuccessFactors, Workday, Abacus, etc.)
- Having our employees at heart, with strong communication, as well as social skills
