Intern in Industrial Control System Architecture

You prototype in the lab, the network architectures for our next generation CO2 capture plants using the latest industrial ethernet protocols, PLCs (Programmable logic controllers), and DCS (Distributed controls systems).
- You improve the Climeworks IoT (Internet of Things) platform, including code updates, documentation, and connecting new CO2 capture plants. You help Climeworks to construct its lab for industrial controls architecture.
- You have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent.
- You bring experience in software engineering (.NET, Go, Kubernetes, MQTT, etc.)
- Familiarity PLCs and industrial ethernet (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA), demonstrated through projects or coursework, would be a big plus.
- You are a fast learner.
- You are interested in Industrial Controls and/or the fast-growing Climate Tech space. You are fluent in English; German is a plus.
