Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).

**Responsibilities**:
Objective
The objective of the Chief of Independent Monitoring Function (CIMF) is to monitor independently the compliance with, and adequacy of, the documented procedures of Design Assurance System of Kopter Group DOA.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks
- Independently monitor that Kopter Design Organisation Approval is maintained in accordance with the applicable EASA Part 21 requirements
- Review, as part of the release workflow, the DO Handbook and the DOA processes and procedures, to check their compliance with the applicable EASA Part 21 requirements
- Define the DOA yearly audit schedule to cover all the applicable Part 21 requirements in the time frame of three years and ensure that scheduled audits are performed by properly qualified Auditors
- Ensure that DOA audit reports and raised findings are distributed within the DO and properly managed, up until their closure
- Periodically report to the HDO on the DOA monitoring results and status update
- Take care of the relationship with the Agency DOA Team Leader (DOATL), supporting the organization of EASA audits performed to Kopter DOA and ensuring that raised findings are distributed within the DO and properly managed
- Receive from the DOATL the results of EASA surveillance activity and ensure that EASA audit reports and raised findings are distributed within the DO and properly managed until their closure and acceptance by the DOATL

Your qualifications & experience
- Degree in engineering discipline
- Good knowledge of the EASA regulatory system, specially of Part 21
- Good Knowledge of leading and executing audits and assessments (certificate)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as CIMF or as a member of the Quality Team in a “mid-size” organization, preferably in the aviation industry
- Experience in interfacing with aviation entities
- English: minimum C1 - verbal and written
