**Role Overview**:
Joining **Nexoom** as our **Social & Community Manager**, you will be a social media guru. You must live, breathe and know everything about social media platforms.

You must be a native english speaker and should have experience in the live streaming and gaming industries or be truly interested, knowledgeable and passionate about them.

You will be responsible for two different communities. The first being very corporate and premium, the other being more funky and gaming related. You will need to be able to do both perfectly.

You will work closely with all members of the Marketing team, and will report to the Digital Content Manager and Marketing Director on a weekly basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Community Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for community growth, including setting objectives and selecting engagement platforms.
- Social Media Management (**Nexoom** and **ection)**: Oversee presence on social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and meaningful community engagement.
- Platform Expertise: Possess sound knowledge of **X**, **Meta**, **Discord**, **LinkedIn**, **Instagram**, and **TikTok**.
- Industry Informed: Stay updated on industry trends, community management best practices, and emerging social media platforms/tools.
- Moderation and Engagement: Monitor and moderate community conversations, ensuring constructive and respectful interactions in line with guidelines.
- Feedback Collection and Analysis: Gathering and analysing social post analytics and community feedback to gain insights into community needs, preferences, trends and improvements.
- Event Planning and Execution: Organising and hosting online or offline events such as webinars, meet-ups, or Q&A sessions to engage and bring the community together.
- Crisis Management: Handling community-related crises or conflicts swiftly and diplomatically. This includes managing negative feedback, resolving disputes, and maintaining a positive environment
- Brand Advocacy: Acting as a **brand ambassador,** promoting the organisation's values and fostering a positive image among the community.

**Your Qualifications**:
**Educational and Professional Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in community or social media management, with a preference for live streaming or gaming expertise.
- Portfolio showcasing successful community engagement initiatives.

**Technical and Professional Skills**:

- Proficiency in Meta, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
- Strong content creation skills (written, images, videos).
- Data analysis skills for community metrics.
- Understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
- CRM experience, especially with Hubspot.
- Knowledge and experience in design tools like Adobe Suite and Canva would be an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, problem-solving abilities, multitasking, and organisational skills.
- Mother tongue or high proficiency in English; fluent Spanish is a plus.
