**Deine Aufgaben**:
- Lead the data team alongside the product owner, guiding data scientists, ML engineers, and analytics engineers, and actively contribute to various initiatives.
- Participate in developing and implementing data and ML models, focusing on finance-related products like financial risk, credit rating, and document extraction.
- Develop the team's hard and soft skills, ensuring motivation, growth, and well-being.
- You are responsible for the technical aspects of our products including code quality, system architecture and technical planning. You are a sparring partner for the team for architectural and conceptual discussions.
- Ensure the team's output aligns with the company's strategic objectives and key results.
- Constant learning and gathering business know-how on how the financial processes work and evolve over time.
**Deine Fähigkeiten**:
- 5+ years of experience as a data scientist or ML engineer, with a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams and familiarity with Scrum. Financial domain experience is a plus.
- Strong foundation in probability, statistics, mathematics, and ML techniques.
- Very good expertise in SQL, Python, and related libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, Pytorch, TensorFlow).
- Initial experience with bringing models to production in a cloud-based environment using technologies like Kubernetes, Google Cloud Services, Airflow, and Kafka is advantageous. Experience with ETL, data modelling, data analysis and reporting using BigQuery, Dataform, Jupyter Notebooks and Tableau is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical understanding, and ability to handle complex scenarios independently or in a team.
- Fluent in English and German.
