English Preschool Teacher

**We are looking for a new Preschool teacher from August 2023**

Our Preschool runs every morning from 8:45 - 11:45, for children who are between 2 and 4 years old.

The vacant position would be for one morning per week, namely a Thursday morning.

**General duties would include**:

- Deliver a creative and educational program suitable for preschool children.
- Make use of a variety of educational techniques eg. storytelling, educational play, craft, fine and gross motor activities to teach and engage with the children.
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities eg. to identify shapes, numbers and colours etc..
- Encourage children to interact with each other, learn to share and to resolve conflicts.
- Help children improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.
- Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times and to practice sound hygiene practices.
- Observe and evaluate the children’s progress and report their progress to parents.
- Work as part of a team and ensure good and open communicate with the rest of the staff.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 3 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift

**Experience**:

- preschool teaching: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Mainly English. (German - added qualification) (preferred)

Work Location: One location
