Textile Technologist 80-100% (all gender)

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate têxtile engineer with extensive experience in têxtile industry especially focused on spinning with knowledge of the manufacturing stages, concepts and principles of the short staple manufacturing process and/or the fabric production area is strongly desired
- Leadership skills and experience
- Ability to work independently as needed with minimum direct supervision
- Experience for a couple of years working as a quality or production manager in the short staple spinning will be of advantage
- Ability to set priorities and manage time and resources
- Open minded and with team spirit
- Customer focused (internal and external)
- Eloquent English in speech and writing. Strong oral and written communication skills (ability to present, teach, consult, convey a message)
- Honest and open in giving and receiving feedback
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30%)

Qualifikation

Trusted contact person for customer
- actively retrieve customer Feedback and find best practices and solutions, including testing at customer’s facilities

Facilitate Product and Service development, launch and improvement
- Innovation of new Products, Services and Applications
- Definition of new Products or improvement
- Involvement in Launch of new Products

Knowledge and Training management
- Internal consulting: active sparring partner for product specialists, R&D, sales and marketing etc.

Digitalization in Textile Technology
- Active Member of the Innovation Team Digitalization consisting of development, product management and têxtile technology: Provide customer’s perspective in the development of new products and/or services, define the requirements to enable successful validation
