Your ‘day to day’
As a Supplier Quality Lead you will be responsible for the end-to-end management, oversight and qualification of the assigned Life Sciences related Suppliers in alignment with PMI strategies and business needs, to ensure that quality of the services provided are continuously in compliance with applicable regulations, global standards, quality and compliance requirements, and contractual agreements.
More specifically, you'll
- Develop and maintain a collaborative and effective partnership with the assigned suppliers to ensure continuous improvement initiatives are supported and adhered to by the organization.
- Perform quality audits to the suppliers, by using a risk-based evaluation strategy and by ensuring audit schedule adherence. Follow-up adherence to the agreed on CAPA plans and implementation timelines.
- Oversee and monitor supplier quality performance based on the predefined metrics, supervise and contribute to the supplier Change Control, Non-Conformity and Complaint processes for the assigned Suppliers to ensure continuous compliance and to foster continuous improvement of the services provided.
- Collaborate with other functions (i.e. Procurement, Clinical Research & Execution, Life Sciences QA, Legal, etc. as applicable) to support supplier selection process, and for the development of the most suitable supplier qualification and management strategies to ensure quality competencies of the suppliers are in alignment with requirements, strategies and business needs.
- Contribute to establish, review and maintain all Supplier Quality Management related QMS documents and records (e.g. SOP, WKI, Procedures, risk assessments, QTAs, supplier documentation etc.) and ensuring their always inspection readiness, traceability and integration in PMI QMS.
- Provide support and guidance to other functions and/or to the Suppliers in terms of quality requirements; support internal and external quality development/improvement plans; participate to the cross-functional projects to provide guidance.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent (i.e. Chemistry, Physics, Pharmaceutical / Material Science, etc.)
- Substantial Quality Assurance experience in GxP/ISO regulated, life sciences environment, in supplier management, development & auditing. Auditor Certification and/or auditing experience in GxP fields (e.g. GCP, GCLP)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiation skills. Highly organized with strong attention to details, superior follow-up and follow-through skills. Good project management knowledge. Result oriented, self-motivating, priority setting, analytical thinking, problem solving, decision making, proactive behavior, pragmatic and customer focused
- Sound understanding of statistics and data interpretation
- Fluent in written and verbal English, additional languages are an advantage.
