**Job Description Summary**: The Account Manager Pharma for our contrast media business is responsible for selling GE Healthcare Pharma products in their defined market in French speaking part of Switzerland.

This role is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts as well as maintaining customer relationships with the accounts.

This role is fully remote based (homebased) with regular traveling activity to customers and trade shows in the Western part of Switzerland.

The future Key Account Manager Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) is playing a key role in driving our continued success story of GE Healthcare PDx in Switzerland.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- You will be responsible for prospecting for new business in addition to growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio and qualifying new leads to maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel for future sales
- You generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan and hold customer meetings and demonstrate our capabilities on assigned products in assigned territory
- You are leading sales negotiation and deal closure at the customer, interfacing with all key buying influencers such as direct users of the product, but also possibly department heads or C-level Management
- You develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of GE and competitive products
- You achieve annual and quarterly order and revenue targets through accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting, by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration and complete territory coverage
- You maintain satisfactory after-sale relationships and development of long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs
- You proactively develop account penetration strategies for key target and competitive accounts and communicate current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements
- You provide leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive product sales
- You participate in projects (z.B. Iod-Recycling) and participate actively in the understanding of the global ecosystem (legal framework, reimbursement system)

**Your profile**:

- Based on a Bachelor's degree or another relevant professional education degree you are a passionate sales professional and bring a consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation in a complex sales environment involving multiple decision-makers/influencer, including customer presentations, price quoting, product demonstration, negotiation, closing and growing a sales territory
- You bring a sound knowledge of and proven relationship building skills in Healthcare or Pharma industry and awareness of market place trends
- You have a demonstrated ability to analyze customer data and develop financially sound sales solutions, you have strong prioritization skills
- You are open to travel within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays depending on geography and business needs as well as to sales meetings and trade shows
- You have a valid driving license
- Ability to communicate using local language (French, German, English)
- You are proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products
