We continue to grow and are currently looking for a Project Manager Public Safety (M/F/o) 80-100% for our branch in Zurich Altstetten as soon as possible.

In the control centers of police and rescue organizations, every second counts. Hexagon's dispatching systems support dispatchers in providing help to emergency callers as quickly and effectively as possible.

As a Project Manager in the field of public safety, you play a central role in our mission to enable our customers to fulfill their important tasks as effectively as possible.
- As a Project Manager, you are the main point of contact for the customer throughout the project duration, from conception to deployment in the control center.
- You are responsible for budget and deadlines as well as the content and quality of delivery, both from Hexagon and, if applicable, from subcontractors.
- This includes project planning, execution, moderation, and documentation of meetings and workshops, coordination of internal and external resources, project reporting, and documentation, using both the classic waterfall model and agile methods.
- Depending on your technical affinity, tasks such as Requirements Engineering with the customer and an internal Product Owner role may also be part of your responsibilities.
- For selected customers, you take on operational support and act as the central point of contact for the further development and support of the software solution in an agile DevOps mode.
- In collaboration with the sales and project team, you specify new requirements and develop high-quality offers.
- You have a completed technical (university) degree (e.g., in computer science, business informatics, geoinformation/geoinformatics, engineering) or a comparable education.
- Your experience in customer support and consultation and/or project management is ideally complemented by knowledge of the market segment.
- You are well-organized, have a structured work approach, and keep the overview and stay calm even in complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and individuals.
- Your winning demeanor, good interpersonal sense, and a healthy dose of pragmatism enable you to build sustainable relationships, communicate well internally and externally, and find effective solutions in challenging situations. You have very good German and English language skills in spoken and written form, knowledge of another Swiss national language is a plus.
