About the team you are joining

Reporting to the Manager, Cargo Industry Programs, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Cargo team in various areas of activity including communication, industry engagement, and technical system improvements within the cargo domain.

What your day would be like

Under the guidance of the Manager, Cargo Industry Programs, the position will work in close cooperation with the IATA Cargo team to support, implement and deliver on industry projects.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

- Assist in creating a manageable platform to improve existing communications and alignment, and to support industry engagement across the cargo governance groups (Cargo Services Conference, Cargo Advisory Council, WCS Industry);
- Support the creation of new Multilateral e-AWB Agreement (MeA) process with IATA Legal & Digital Cargo;
- Provide support to the industry campaigns and IATA internal communication in relation to Cargo initiatives.

We would love to hear from you if

you possess the following education, skills and experience:

- Bachelor’s degree obtained recently (not longer than one year ago), preferable in any of the following areas: Supply Chain, Logistics, Management, Information Systems;
- Willing to work in the Cargo domain, within an international environment;
- Previous work experience in business processes of the transport supply chain and/or air cargo; this would be an asset;
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word; knowledge of MS‐Teams/SharePoint would be an asset;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Ability to work independently whilst also being a strong team player;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are mandatory; any other language will be an asset.
