Our mission is to make biology easier to engineer. Ginkgo is constructing, editing, and redesigning the living world in order to answer the globe’s growing challenges in health, energy, food, materials, and more. Our bioengineers make use of an in-house automated foundry for designing and building new organisms.
**Responsibilities**:
- Project related experimental lab work - instructed and independently
- Experimental planning
- Recording of experimental data in lab journal
- Interpretation and presentation of experimental data
- Report writing
- Support of general lab activities, such as media preparation, autoclaving, cleaning of lab ware, trash disposal, etc.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Valid working permit for Switzerland
- BSc/MSc in a biological science
- Previous experimental work in microbiology
**Preferred Capabilities and Experience**:
- Experience with flow cytometry, fluorescent assays, and fluorescence microscopy
