Delivery Scientist

**Job summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and produce LNPs to support discovery and preclinical investigations.
- Develop analytical methods and evaluate physicochemical characteristics of LNPs.
- Explore orthogonal processes and design of experiment approaches to develop novel LNP formulations.
- Research and identify novel ideas and opportunities that support Anjarium’s vision.
- Work independently and in collaboration with other team members to design, plan and execute experiments to facilitate in vitro and in vivo evaluation of LNP formulations.
- Collect data in electronic laboratory notebooks.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field or M.Sc/B.Sc. with 4+ years of industry experience with a strong background in non-viral delivery of nucleic acids.
- Hands-on experimental skills in formulation and analytical characterization of LNPs is required.
- Experience with analytical techniques (DLS, Zeta-potential, UV-VIS, fluorescence spectrophotometry, HPLC, gel electrophoresis, etc.).
- Experience with in vitro and in vivo screenings and evaluations is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of the scientific literature in the field of LNPs and nucleic acid delivery.
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively plan and analyze work activities and prioritize task completion t o meet schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to maintain accurate and well-organized laboratory records.
- Rigorous analytical and problem-solving skills with high scientific and ethical standards.
- Agility to work in a fast-paced research field.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
