Junior Communications Manager

**About the role**:
This is an entry-level position within Swiss Re's Media Relations & Corporate Reporting team, which would give the right individual an opportunity to develop their skills in the area of communications. Your responsibilities would range from administrative tasks to supporting organisation of media events, distribution of press releases and preparation of different communications materials.

**Tasks**:
As a member of Swiss Re's Media Relations and Corporate Reporting team you will:

- Monitor and coordinate responses to incoming media enquiries
- Support organisation of media events, interviews and media trainings, in close collaboration with different internal stakeholders within and outside the team
- Help plan and prepare timelines for important projects, such as quarterly financial results reporting
- Manage journalist databases
- Support timely distribution of press releases
- Help prepare communications materials, such as news releases and presentations
- Take care of administrative tasks to support the Media Relations and Corporate Reporting team

You have
- A strong interest in Communications or Media Relations
- Strong command of English and German; other languages a plus
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A high level of attention to detail
- Stamina and persistence to pursue new ideas
- Good business acumen and judgement
- Experience in working with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
