Patient Pathway Manager

We are currently seeking a Patient Pathway Manager (PPM) for our Hospital Acute Business Unit (HAC) to provide innovative, differentiated, co-created services to our top customers and accounts. The current focus of the PPM will be in the area of pulmonary hypertension.
The PPM will develop a deep understanding of patient care pathways and drive patient pathway optimization through projects that identify barriers to optimal care. They will lead the co-development of solutions aimed at optimizing care pathways to improve patient experience and outcomes, always having in mind a data-driven approach and evaluating also new technologies. Additionally, the PPM will coordinate the sharing of best practices for relevant care pathway or system improvement initiatives.
In order to advance patient care delivery, the PPM will build long-term trusted collaborative relationships and partnerships with top customers and accounts and other relevant stakeholders. Working closely with the Mid-European Region (MER) regional team, the PPM will support the Swiss Customer Engagement Specialists (CES) on their top 2-3 accounts, ensuring that best practices regarding patient pathway optimization and account management are shared and implemented for the Swiss healthcare system.
The PPM will align with both the overall Swiss strategy and MER initiatives, supporting the CES team in developing aligned and integrated plans using an agile, data-driven, and analytical approach.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop relationships with top customers, accounts and stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of the Swiss healthcare environment and the PAH patient pathway.
- Identify and create long-term collaborative opportunities with our top customers and accounts to understand barriers to optimal care and co-create solutions to improve treatment rates and quality.
- Focus on improving existing pathways, co-create patient-focused solutions and initiatives, including relevant KPIs and metrics.
- Champion the optimization of the patient experience both internally and externally.
- Work closely with other customer-facing roles in each account to ensure a unified customer experience.
- Collaborate with the Swiss HAC Leadership Team to ensure alignment with Business Unit’s priorities and sales force prioritization.
- Establish partnership contracts with health institutions following good business practices and internal procedures.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the success of projects.
**Your Profile**:
- Experience in co-creating and delivering complex projects successfully with tangible measurable impact.
- Highly analytical with the ability to use data to inform decision making.
- Ability to lead and work within a team and matrix environment.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, demonstrating passion and initiative in finding innovative patient solutions and leading projects from conception to implementation.
- Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to reprioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge and experience of agile and lean ways of working.
- Strategic thinking with strong attention to detail and the ability to drive key strategic priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Significant experience in managing and delivering patient solutions.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry regulatory environment and compliance standards.
- Fluency in German and English, and ideally in French.
- Affinity for new technologies.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team are critical.
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare environment, ideally within specialty care.
