Main Purpose:
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated HR Generalist to provide administrative and project support to our Geneva based HR team. This role is essential for the efficient HR operations across Europe, covering functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compliance, as well as administration, events organization and system work.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.- Knowledge of Swiss labour legislation. Any additional EU employment law experience is a plus.- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment.- Proficiency in HRIS systems, particularly Workday.- Advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.- Attention to detail.- Multi-tasking and organisation skills.- Team player.- Strong communication skills in English and French. Proficiency in any additional languages is highly desirable.- Self-starter and pro-active attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Support HR Leadership- Assist HR leaders in their daily tasks and long-term projects.
Immigration & Relocation- Coordinate with providers for seamless relocation and immigration processes, especially for non-EU immigration requests.- Manage temporary accommodation reporting and invoicing, as well as ensure the effective housing management.
Onboarding- Be the first face our new hires and transfers see in Geneva, help integrate them into our HR system and ensuring a smooth start.
Employee Relations- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues.
Compliance- Ensure all HR activities comply with local labor laws and company policies. Maintain up-to-date employee records.
Administration- From drafting pre-employment packs to contracts of employment and reference letters, your attention to detail will ensure all documentation is spot-on.- Coordinate with our payroll team to manage Switzerland specific data meticulously.- Become the go-to person for queries to and from Cantonal and Federal authorities like unemployment offices, fiscal authorities, compensation funds.- Support employee benefits activities, e.g. tax at source, pensions.- Identify process improvement opportunities including automation of activities, rewrite HR communication etc.
Events- Coordinate HR related events such as the Kids Day
System- Actively participate in global HR system (Workday) projects and testing, help to streamline and enhance our processes.- Maintain accurate data in Workday and generate reports as needed. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Competencies- Strong administration skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills, tact, diplomacy and approachability.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- High level of confidentiality, trustworthiness and ownership.- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
