At Farie, we are on a mission to make it as easy and transparent as possible to buy and sell cars online.

As a subsidiary of the Swiss car subscription pioneer Carvolution, Farie benefits from strategic and operational synergies that allow us to grow fast. Our ambition is to build the largest online car dealer in Switzerland.

We need an experienced product manager to ensure that we stay focused during our growth.

Tasks

As Product Manager at Farie, you are accountable for the business impact our product has. Your focus will be on identifying potential in the car buying and selling journey. You will balance buyers, sellers, car dealers, and internal stakeholders' needs to make sure our product fits Farie's needs.

**Our product consists of the following**:
1. "Sell your car" form and subsequent logic
2. Auction platform for swiss car dealers
3. "Buy a car" platform
4. Internal car management platform we call "Overdrive"

A typical day in the life of a product manager at Farie could look like this:
1. Tweak the roadmap, ensuring alignment of business priorities and motivation within the product team
2. Plan the upcoming 2-week sprints with the help of our quarterly Product-OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
3. Investigate potential in our user journeys, formulate hypotheses, and setup A/B tests
4. Analyze the performance of recently released features and prepare to present them at the upcoming sprint demo
5. Sync up with the marketing and procurement team to ideate how to make Farie ready for the spring season (think summer tires, convertibles, etc.)
6. Troubleshoot issues with the product to ensure smooth working for all your colleagues

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of working as a product manager in a technology company (preferably start-up experience)
- Experience working with developers and product designers
- Experience working in Scrum
- Ability to bring structure into chaos
- Empathic listening and articulate speaking abilities
- Legally permitted to work in Switzerland
- Fluent in English

Bonus points for
- Experience with OKRs
- Fluent in both German and English
- A business or technical degree
- Knowledge of the car industry and passion for cars

Team
- You’ll work in the product team alongside Arisa (junior software developer), Channing (junior software developer), Lars (designer), Christos (senior bubble developer), Alessandro (senior bubble developer) and Pascal (chief product officer)
- We aim to expand the product team by another 3 people until mid 2023
- We work in 2-week sprints using scrum

Tech Stack
- Google Cloud Platform, PostgreSQL, Gitlab & Gitlab CI/CD
- Backend: Python, Django, FastAPI
- Frontend: Lightweight pages htmx, AlpineJS, TailwindCSS. Complex pages with a frontend framework (tbd)
- Jira manages our tasks and Confluence our documentation
- Slack is our internal communications tool
