**Head Finance Europe**

**Your tasks**
- Taking overall responsibility for finance and financial management of the European markets
- Precise and punctual submission of reports to all the relevant local authorities in Italy, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands and Switzerland
- Ensuring first-class (effective) finance governance (including documentation of the organization, policies and guidelines, ICS audit documentation, authorizations and a complete review of the accounting policies and guidelines)
- Monitoring of the payrolls for European countries
- Acting as a business partner to the Group CFO for questions on financial accounting, reporting and controlling
- Managing all change initiatives relating to the finance department and any related changes
- Managing the planning, forecasting and reporting processes for the European business units
- Working closely with the Executive Board and providing them with standard and ad-hoc reports and analyses to support the decision-making process
- Defining (collaborative), establishing and introducing (for the companies) of a dashboard with important performance indicators that enable companies in different countries to steer/manage their business
- Leading a team of financial controllers and accountants based in Liechtenstein, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Italy

**Your profile**
- Experience as Head Finance or in a senior business/finance position in insurance sector, ideally life insurance
- Experience in driving business performance by translating financial insights into business implications
- Experience in managing investor relations/complex relations with important stakeholders
- Comfortable and proven in dealing with BoD/BoD committees, key stakeholders and shareholders (e.g. mother company) and external auditors
- Professional experience gained in international environment
- A capable leader that will be a strong partner to the executive team and an excellent mentor and coach to a growing Accounting and Finance team
- At least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience serving in an executive or senior financial management position
