**About the Role**
The Project and Change Management Lead is a senior role within the Finance Operations and Projects team of Global Finance Operations and Transformation responsible for spearheading change management initiatives, managing the Finance Project Portfolio, leading working groups, and overseeing a team of support resources and Subject Matter Experts. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of Group Finance projects and the seamless implementation of change initiatives across the department, while ensuring risks and issues are addressed and appropriately managed.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate effective adoption of a change management process which covers the end-to-end financial reporting process and system landscape.
- Lead the Change Management team members to facilitate effective prioritization and smooth implementation of finance-related changes, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of change initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Manage the Finance Project Portfolio team members to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the projects within the Finance Project Portfolio.
- Collaborate very closely with Finance IT and business stakeholders to align project and change management practices with organizational goals and strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget and seamless integration of new processes and systems.
- Lead working groups to address specific challenges and drive progress on key projects.
- Oversee a group of support resources and Subject Matter Experts, ensuring they provide valuable insights and support to the Finance Operations and Projects team and beyond.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in project management and change management methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in change and project management processes, leveraging automation and technology where appropriate.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

**About the Team**
Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) is the unit responsible for the accounting and reporting of accurate and consistent financial information Globally for Swiss Re for external reporting and internal analysis facilitating strategic decision-making. This includes IFRS for Group as well as statutory financial information for all Swiss Re's legal entities, including SST and Solvency II. GFO&T spearheads the transformation of Group Finance, streamlining it towards a simpler, more effective forward-looking organisation.

**About You**
You're a dynamic and engaging leader who brings the best out of individuals and teams to support the overall goals of the Finance Operations & Projects team. In addition, you are a confident communicator who can engage with colleagues with diverse backgrounds.

Key requirements include:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in finance, accounting or reporting activities preferably within a (Re)insurance environment.
- Proven experience in project management and change management within a finance or operations environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and complex projects.
- Excellent understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with change management principles and practices.
- Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Familiarity with financial systems and databases, and the ability to liaise effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and decision-making abilities with a problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
