Supply Chain Coordinator - 100%

Our Client is an independent pharmaceutical company specialised in the production and distribution of niche pharmaceutical products. They aim to ensure continuity of care for patients with serious, even rare diseases. Their product portfolio is mainly focused on gastroenterology, anti-infectives, and anti-psychotics. They are looking for a highly motivated and pharma-experienced professional to strengthen their growing Supply Chain team in Basel, Switzerland. 

Your role
- Responsible for supply planning and the coordination of daily tasks
- Follow up the production on time in full of the required quantities based on the demand plan
- Lead/facilitate the Joint Management Team regarding our products and CMO’s
- Ensure timely coordination between Artwork Management and Regulatory Affairs for any artwork changes
- Support Quality Assurance in terms of product-related deviations
- Responsible for providing a rolling forecast for API and finished product, as well as reviewing those with stakeholders for designated product portfolio
- Place purchase orders to CMO’s according to the demand plan
- Evaluate KPI’s for supply chain activities for the respective portfolio
- Identify potential supply constraints, make proposals for mitigation, implement agreed actions
- Actively contribute to the development and process optimisation within the department and cross-functionally, establish working procedures together with the team
- Contribute to projects,e.g.,with Finance and QA
**Profile**:

- You hold a university degree with Commercial or/and Technical background. Holding an APICS certification is a plus.
- You have several years of experience in the supply chain within the health care industry,preferably in an international environment
- You have a good understanding of GMP/GxP, regulatory affairs,and the manufacturing of Rx products
- You have theoretical and practical experience in forecasting, production planning,and logistics
- You are used to managing several projects simultaneously: your analytical and organization skills are part of your key strengths
- Experience in the handling of controlled substances is an asset
- You have an excellent command of I.T. tools and broad experience working with Excel and ERP systems (MS Navision is a plus)
- Business English in written and spoken is a must;e.g.,German language is a plus
- Entrepreneur mindset-You are a doer and a performance driver
- You are a talented communicator, eager to learn; you can work autonomously within an environment where flexibility is necessary
- You have a high degree of business ethics: High performance without ethics has, for us, no value
