**Your role and responsibilities**:
This role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and make a significant impact on ABB’s global HR landscape. As a member of the HR Leadership Team (HRLT), guide our strategic initiatives to drive employee performance and optimize reward systems. Your expertise will shape our global compensation strategies, guaranteeing fair and motivating rewards. Be a key player in fostering a high-performance culture and making a tangible impact on our global workforce. Foster essential relationships with top internal leaders and external experts to drive strategic initiatives and elevate our Performance & Reward systems. Key responsibilities include: - Collaborate with the Board, Executive Committee, and HRLT to develop and execute a global performance and reward strategy, fostering a high-performance culture. - Support the Compensation Committee (CC) in policy development for Executive Directors and Committee members, act as the lead internal reward advisor at CC meetings and empower the production of the Compensation Report for approval by the Board; work with the Chairman, Chief Executive and Chairman of the CC in securing the support of shareholders and other stakeholders on compensation resolutions at the Annual General Meeting. - Develop and govern policies for senior leaders, including Long-Term Incentive plans, and ensure Corporate Governance for performance share plans. - Implement core employee compensation policies, including grading, salary, and bonus structures, and guide their execution. - Create and govern benefit plans (pensions, medical, EAP) to attract and retain talent into ABB. - Develop global mobility policies that support the talent agenda and ensure cost transparency. - Design and implement Performance Management strategies and support HR Services in their delivery. - Facilitate M&A practices for HR, developing policies and guidelines. - Manage financial planning and budgeting for Corporate Performance & Reward, monitoring progress and defining action plans. - Ensure the P&R function is well-organized, resourced, and skilled, developing succession plans and coaching team members. #LI-Hybrid

**Qualifications for the role**:

- To thrive and lead effectively in this critical role, you bring the following qualifications and skills:

- Master's degree in HR, business, or related field
- Over 15 years of expertise in Performance & Rewards, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership capacity within a globally operating company
- Deep knowledge of global performance and rewards best practices, trends, and regulations
- Experience managing executive compensation and equity plans in a globally operating environment
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and prioritize competing demands
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions
