Business Efficiency Manager L&h Reinsurance

We are looking for an experienced professional and positive self-starter, who supports the Head of Business Efficiency in Business Excellence within the newly established L&H Re Operations & Advisory COO space to drive high-priority initiatives and activities with a focus on strategic cost and service management for L&H.

**About the Role**

It is an exciting role in a dynamic environment with a broad range of responsibilities all requiring your agility, strong analytical and communication skills, and focus on execution

Your responsibilities will include working on various topics from driving strategic costs and services initiatives, preparation of financial insights and story lining, project management to creating presentations for Senior Management.

By building strong relationships you will work most effectively with all internal stakeholders within L&H Re and Group and participate in BU / Group initiatives as well as facilitating data/ information requests.

**About the Team**

We lead strategic cost management, in particular the 3-year cost plan with a strong link to affordability and to the strategic workforce development. We drive and monitor strategic investments and efficiencies within L&H Re and own all strategic cost presentations into Group EC and BoD.

We drive L&H Re service management for Group Function services, perform service cost and quality reviews, collect and analyse data, elaborate options and recommendations, create presentations and present to key stakeholders.

We complete assignments and coordinate ad hoc requests for the Leadership team.

**About You**

You are an outstanding teammate in a fast-paced senior management environment with people from different backgrounds (used to different styles, preferences, and cultures). With your excellent interpersonal skills, you are effective in establishing and building credibility quickly and managing relationships with customers, partners and peers.

Experience/skills/education
- 5+ years' cost management and/or business consulting experience with sound understanding of the (re)insurance business
- Demonstrated analytical skills to use data and empirical methods to influence improvements
- Superior command of MS Office suite (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
- University degree in Business Administration (or comparable education/equivalent experience)

- Excellent command of English and superior communication and influencing skills
