**About the Role**

We are looking for YOU - a motivated and result oriented Underwriter to join our Globals EMEA & International Business property treaty underwriting team in Zurich. Be ready to become a member of the newly formed P&C Re CUO Property organization, where we'll expect you to contribute to the execution of its product strategy, as well as collaborating, steering, and enabling business underwritten within the relevant Market Units.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- You evaluate and assess risks in accordance with company guidelines and standards and make underwriting decisions.
- You will also collaborate with other functions to enable and steer the product strategy of the Property CUO office.
- You will manage the discussions with clients to identify their motivation, needs and priorities and develop innovative reinsurance solutions and transactions, using the full range of our capabilities.

**About the Team**

Our team is based in Zurich and Munich and consists of an international underwriting team. The clients are headquartered all over Europe, and we interact with the highly dynamic International Business market in London and Bermuda. The deals we write in our portfolio range from country-specific treaties to worldwide solutions with broad coverage.

Our clients focus on property insurance with a worldwide scope, serving a client base ranging from homeowners to corporations. We strive to help our clients grow and to thrive with them, by closing the protection gap as well as in helping our clients with their capital management.

**About You**

Essentials:

- Earned a university degree (preferably with a quantitative, scientific, or economic focus) or you have equivalent work experience.
- Experience in an underwriting and/or other analytical field and have proven project management skills.
- It is vital that you like to take the ownership: your manager does empower and does not micromanage
- English and French are proficient, additional languages like German, Spanish or Italian are a plus.

- Actuarial training
