**Clinical Epidemiologist / Biostatistician**

We are looking for a highly motivated colleague with experience in clinical epidemiological research to work with and support an interdisciplinary research group led by Professor Iris Baumgartner at the university hospital, with a focus on peripheral vascular and other cardiovascular disease, medical imaging, mínimally invasive surgery, and pharmacology.

Duties and responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of observational studies, clinical trials, systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Perform sample size calculation.
- Prepare, validate, and analyze data of clinical studies (observational studies, randomized-controlled trials, meta-analyses).
- Support members of the group in data analysis and interpretation.
- Contribute to final reports and manuscripts for publication of research projects as well as research grants for new projects.
- Contribute to the supervision of PhD students.

Qualification and skills
- Doctoral degree in (clinical) epidemiology, biostatistics or related fields
- Experience in clinical research, including in the planning, implementation and analysis of: studies in the field of Personalised Health; randomised clinical trials and cohort studies; systematic reviews and meta-analyses
- Experience in project management and coordination
- Communication skills, intercultural competence
- Professional knowledge of English and German (oral and written), knowledge of the French language is a plus.
