The "Head Linux Infrastructure" or also called “Product Owner” takes over the technical leadership and is the face of our Linux product team with approximately 10-15 product team members in Switzerland, Spain and France. The Product Owner also acts as regular team member with hands-on work, potential on-call duties and is part of the department leadership team of "Core Infrastructure". The Product Owner does not have disciplinary lead of the team members but technical lead of the product. Disciplinary lead for product team members across multiple products lies with the People Head.

The Linux Infrastructure team is responsible for engineering and operations of all our linux technologies worldwide, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, AIX, Solaris and a variety of other linux distributions. For this position we offer the possibility of 60% home office.

**What You Will Do**:

- define the product roadmap and take care of the product lifecycle management
- have the end to end responsibility of engineering, operations and maintenance of our approx. 3'000 linux server
- consult stakeholders and understand their needs (feature requests)
- prioritize the overall tasks, projects and define the product backlog in alignment with product team
- responsible for the product budget

**What You Bring**:

- specialized in Linux (focus on RHEL) with several years of experience in engineering and operations
- very good communication in English (written & verbal), German is a plus
- strong conceptual skills, to enable our product team to work efficient and effective
- passion for working in a technical environment, create a bridge between customers, architects, system engineers and security responsible
- winning team player, driving our product vision forward together with the People Head of the products
