Our Capital Markets Analytics team provides quantitative consultancy services to Financial Institutions. We partner with our clients to develop and validate cutting edge financial and risk models. We also enable the conception of quantitative solutions that are delivered by our Software engineering teams.
**Your role**
As the Head of our Capital Markets Analytics team, you will lead a team of Quantitative Engineers with full responsibility for budget, revenues, delivery, resource planning and staff development. This is a unique opportunity for a leader in quantitative finance to have an impact on the growth of our business, while being exposed to different client types and shape a large variety of quantitative solutions.
**You will**
- Have accountability for the budget of the practice. This comprises the strategy and the execution of the roadmap, as well as the planning for new resources and forecasting of revenues.
- Close new business opportunities, supporting the efforts of our business development teams. Be involved in the contract and pricing of the solutions and ensure resources are aligned with business needs.
- Further develop the offering towards scalable business models
- Lead a team of Quantitative Engineers, fostering a culture excellency, performance and collaboration.
- Ensure client focus and success is the main driver of all research work conducted by the team
- Deliver high quality documentation and presentations to support and maintain model and library use
- Work on the development of cutting-edge methodologies and technologies for major international clients
- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, enterprise wide risk mitigation guidance and internal swissQuant policies and standards.
**You bring**
- Post graduate degree in a highly quantitative discipline
- Ability to convert business objectives into technical modelling solutions
- Excellent communication skills. Fluency in English, German is a plus
- Good understanding of statistical and econometric modelling techniques - e.g. time series
- Experience leading a team of consultants and experts in a technical environment. Experience from a major consultancy in a financial services division woud be an advantage.
