**Main characteristics of the Graduate Trainee opportunity**
- Length of employment on a fix-term contract with start date as soon as possible; 12-14 months
- Main tasks: model implementation (Python), model methodology development and analyses (supervised by trainee mentor)
- Appropriate internal on-the-job training and introduction to Reinsurance, networking activities

We are looking for highly qualified, motivated, and enthusiastic young talent, interested to work in and contribute to our **Risk Modelling Department **. This department oversees the development of SCOR’s Internal Model for the group and local entities. During your traineeship, you will be assigned to specific tasks related to the development of the Internal Model. In your role as trainee, you will also cooperate and interact with other departments and by this receive a broad understanding of various processes and projects within a truly global and the 5th largest Reinsurer worldwide.

**Your Profile**
- Above average University Degree (Master, PhD) in Engineering, IT, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Actuarial Sciences or similar
- Good knowledge of programming languages (preferably Python)
- Familiarity with basic concepts of quantitative finance and statistics is an advantage
- Prior experience with version control software such as GIT is an advantage
- Good conceptual and analytical capabilities plus being able to approach tasks consistently, goal-oriented, and independently
- Excellent communication skills and command in English, knowledge of French or German is an advantage
- Global mind-set, team player attitude and appetite for continuous learning and achievements in an international context
