**About the role**

As an Audit Manager in the EMEA Chapter, your primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to, participating in a wide range of business and functional audit activities, with a focus on Financial Markets functions.

**You will**:
- Personally deliver outputs that have a GIA wide impact.- Challenge the audit teams to excel through acting as a behaviour role model.- Deliver audit work with limited or no intervention from Product Owners, Functional Audit Managers, and Chapter Leads, including the execution of local, regional, and global audits.- Define GIA’s focus and quarterly audit plans, based on monitoring and identifying the key risks facing the business.- Co-develop data analytics to assess control related outcomes and employ data hypotheses to test data sets with the audit team and Data team in GIA.- Maintain ownership of key relationships with senior executives / decision makers, particularly in the Financial Markets functions, to deliver insights and exert influence.- Join Agile/ SCRUM ceremonies within the Chapter to enable continuous learning and forward-looking assurance

**About the team**

Group Internal Audit provide independent and objective assurance that assists the Board of Directors and Group Executive Committee to protect the assets, reputation, and sustainability of the organization. We perform audit activities designed to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the Group's internal control systems, and to add new value through improving the Group's operations. GIA's vision is Advancing Swiss Re's Resilience.

We offer a suite of audit products that are tailored to the nature of the assurance goal and deliver comprehensive messages to management over end-to-end processes and their control environment. And lastly, our continuous risk assessment process (which use data analytics and external data factors) drives the allocation of our resources, the audit proposals and prioritization. We continuously extend the use of data and automation within our audit processes.

**About You**

**Education and experience**:
- 6+ years of work experience, preferably within Internal Audit in financial services industry- Risk management, control and assurance techniques- In depth awareness of internal audit standard methodologies and current and emerging assurance issues for this industry sector- Strong knowledge of Financial Markets products and processes- Data analytics experience a plus- CPA, CA, CIA or professional certification (preferred)- University degree (preferred)

- Critical thinker that sees the "big picture" (e.g., overall themes, trends, goals), generates innovative ideas and solutions to problems and makes recommendations in the face of complexity, conflicting pressures and ambiguous circumstances.- Result oriented, able to plan well, willing to coach and work in the field and able to deliver results in time- Professional communicator, able to gain and maintain a trusted relationship while delivering difficult messages- Structured analyst, capable to adopt and use data-driven auditing including data analytics to assess risks, scope audits and test controls- Team worker, able to listen to others but also influence in order to see the wider picture and achieve a vision
