Head of Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis

As a Head of of Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, you will lead end-to-end the execution of all the financial planning, budgeting, analysis and reporting activities and processes of the IOC and IOC controlled entities.

**Main responsibilities**

Accounting
- Plan, organise, direct and lead the accounting and reporting of the consolidated and standalone IFRS and Swiss statutory financial statements of the IOC and other IOC controlled entities.
- Lead evolution of IFRS and other financial reporting standards’ impact for the IOC and IOC controlled entities financial statements.
- Develop and monitor IOC group accounting policies, consolidation, controls, procedures and governance system and provide accounting manual.
- Ensure that all external and internal accounting and reporting requirements are met.
- Be the interface for the annual external audit process with the external auditor, starting from preparation of audit plan, audit dates, execution and reporting to management.
- Lead key continuous improvements, roll-out of new processes, financial system upgrade, increasing internal controls and process efficiencies. Be responsible for management information governance.
- Monitor the preparation, testing, implementation and roll-out of SAP upgrades and enhancements.
- Ensure the integrity of the financial master data held within SAP system and monitor its activity.

Budgeting & Analysis
- Lead the activity of reporting the long-term plan and budget, forecasts and cash flow statements.
- Identify, analyse and report cost and revenue drivers, deviations of actual to budget and key performance indicators and metrics.
- Participate and monitor the activity of Project Management Office and Plan & Budget Committee working groups.

Treasury Back Office and Middle Office
- Lead the back and middle offices for treasury and asset management.
- Lead financial asset classification, supporting documentation, recognition and IFRS & statutory treatment by legal entity.
- Lead the activity of treasury monthly and yearly closing activities including but not limited to: foreign exchange rate updates, valuation, impairment, reconciliation of accounts and hedge accounting.

Management Reporting
- Develop a customer-focused mindset with the team and act as a business partner across the organisation.
- Prepare reports and presentations for the IOC Commissions, the Executive Board and the Session related to financial accounting & reporting, plan & budget, key projects and contributions.
- Lead the activity of performing regular financial analysis of revenues, expenses and trends.
- Provide relevant management reports and financial decision support to key business activities, projects and programmes.
- Review and contribute to the preparation of the IOC Annual Report to ensure accuracy, relevance and transparency.

Special Projects
- Provide relevant, accurate and timely financial information and reporting per special project.
- Lead and monitor finance and corporate projects as assigned.

**Our requirements**
- University and master’s degree in finance or accounting with professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA).
- Previous experience in a Big Four, international, multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment.
- Excellent written and spoken French and English.
- Excellent command of the corporate tools and ability to follow internal user rules (Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
- Autonomy and sense of organisation.
