**About the Trading Accountant role**

As a Trading Accountant of T&S, you will be reporting directly to the Financial Control and Accounting Manager and you will become of member of a team composed of 13 persons.
The role will allow you to develop your skills in the field of trading accounting accounting and to discover the exciting world of energy commodities trading. The business is facing many changes (biofuels and petrochem development, new geographical areas ) which imply new flows and thus a reflection on the accounting side as well as on the systems optimization side, which make the job exciting

**What you will do**

This unique position will enable you to handle trading accounting

**Trading accounting**:

- Verify and account for trading invoices from the management software (Medissys)
- Verify and account for cost/cargo estimates
- Analyze discrepancies between the accounting and the management system
- Follow up on provisions pending invoicing
- Account reconciliation with the affiliates of TotalEnergies company
- Participate in external audits, WCR, reconciliation with suppliers and customers**Purpose**:

- Ensures the reliability of the accounts of its sectors/books.
- Responsible for the reliability of the accounts and the respect of the deadlines of T&S and affiliates.
- Good compliance with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

**Context and environment**

Trading is by nature dynamic and changing. The condition for its proper functioning is a flawless control of activities in perpetual evolution.
As T&S is at the center of the company's reciprocal activities (EP/MS/RC, etc.), deadlines and accounts must be perfectly maintained so as not to have a significant impact on the group's accounts.
- The nature of the trading activity requires understanding the business and reacting quickly.
- Works closely with the various departments (operations, middle office, etc.) of the entity.
- Confidentiality and security of accounting data are essential.
- Master Degree (or equivalent) in Finance and Accounting
- Previous experience in an audit firm (Big 4) would be appreciated
- This opportunity is also open to fresh graduates looking for a first professional experience
- You are rigorous, committed and a strong sense of organization
- You are responsive and able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
- You are resilient and versatile and can easily adapt to change
- You fluently speak French and English
