Arxada is looking for a **Project Engineering Manager** based in **Visp, Switzerland**. In this role you will perform project management and process and/or project engineering work in Capital project environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Project management for Capital projects in pre-CAR and/or project execution phase
- Responsible for reaching performance, schedule and cost goals for given assignments
- Coaches and instructs project team members
- Fosters engineering processes and standards for assigned areas of expertise and provides required trainings
- Builds up and maintains a high level of knowledge and competence in one or more engineering areas
- Contribute to a positive work environment
- Takes leadership in critical phases of the project

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical -or Mechanical Engineering - MS or PhD preferred
- Business fluent in German
- Advanced experience in CAPEX project planning and execution
- Strong project management skills and agile problem solving skills
- You are an independent, reliable and initiative organizational talent
- Strong team player
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, keeping track of costs and schedule and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
- Sound understanding of the applied technology, especially of the different applied unit operations (e.g. distillation, crystallization, reaction technology) and the scientific concept behind it
- Ability to effectively communicate via writing and oral communication at all levels to both internal and external customers
