Job Summary

The main objective of theJob is to assure the  right first time application of in houseTechnical Standards, as well as engineering principles, concepts,industry practices & standards. To achieve this, the TPL is inclose collaboration with the technical team during the designphase, FATs / SATs and commissioning until IQ / OQ. Sharingtechnical standards and auditing their compliance is key. Solidtechnical knowledge is mandatory to understand the content,enabling e.g. the review of P&IDs.

Tasks &Responsibilities
  • Share and enforce theapplicable standards & practices with the project team and WorkPackage Owners (= SMEs of the EPCMQ orsuppliers)
  • Proactively align and keep alignedwith the Lonza Project Team (Process, Plant Engineer, OPS Team,SGU, QA, QC, Visp Engineering, EPCMQ team) about the applicabletechnical standards
  • Participate in thetechnical meetings between the Work Package Owners and thesuppliers
  • Review and approve technicaldocumentation (e.g. P&IDs)
  • Coordinate thedeclaration of conformity according toPED
  • Organize internal as well as externalworkshops and support team members to establish agendas, meetingminutes, actions lists,…) 
  • Participate tothe preparation of the project reporting (charts for KPIs,collection of information,…)  
  • Participatein the corresponding approval workflows in Unifier andCQV
  • Participate in FATs / SATs as observingauditor
  • Technical Change Management: Leaddiscussions if a proposed change is mandatory or a “nice tohave”.
  • Coordinate TCRs inSAP. 
  • Prepare the handover of technicalinformation from the EPCMQ to Plant Engineering and execute it whenthe initial handover occurs.

Musthaves:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor orMaster degree in Engineering (process, pharmaceutical, biochemicalorequivalent)
 
  • Experience
    • 2+years in project engineering or project management for(bio)chemical, or pharmaceutical industries with internationalexperience.
      Technical knowledge of the variousengineering disciplines in the Pharmaceutical environment, both onclean and black utilities, process, automation, Instrumentation andCivil Engineering
    • Task orientated  personwho is very comfortable working towards set objectives and has atrack record of achieving results in thisregard.
 
  • Knowledge
    • Excellentknowledge of computer systems (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel,PowerPoint, and Visio).
    • Experience at workingboth independently and in a team-oriented, collaborativeenvironment isessential.
 
  • Skills
    • Agood memory and organization is required to keep the overview ofthe technical standards.
    • Strong verbal andwritten communication skills in English, +German is anasset.
    • Effective influencing skills. Ability tocommunicate to varying levels and functions of theorganization.
    • Strong collaborativemindset.
    • Strong organizational skills, abilityto balance multiple prioritiessimultaneously.
    • Can conform to shiftingpriorities, demands and timelines through analytical andproblem-solving capabilities.
