**Role Overview**

The Digital Payments team sits within Planet’s Innovation vertical. We focus on solving problems for our customers via both our front-end and back-end systems. This ranges from optimising checkout flows to designing conversion uplift tools. Our team is responsible for both the research, design and technical execution of new digital payments products.

The team collaborates across engineering, marketing, sales / customer management and operations. We enjoy regularly speaking to customers to understand pain points, and solving these creatively.

In the past year, the team has delivered a new marketplace solution, the world’s first PCI-compliance document vault, and redesigned our core merchant portal.

**What you will do**

As a Product Manager, you will be:

- Speaking to customers to understand their problems and developing solutions via new products and features
- Creating and managing product requirements while working with Agile methodologies
- Working closely with the other Product Managers and related teams (developers, sales, operations, marketing)
- Working with technical sales teams to gain enterprise merchant insights, and to drive new product development
- Driving discussions and processes with cross-functional teams towards product delivery
- Have accountability for roadmaps, planning and delivery

**Who you are**
- Previous product management experience
- Some technical experience or background (computer science, engineering, or other related experience)
- Comfortable in dealing with concepts around APIs, product design and basic user experience
- Leadership abilities across cross-functional and geographically diverse teams
- Persistence in approach in driving products and projects to successful outcomes
- Some experience with product management tools (e.g. Jira, Productboard, etc)
