**Research Coordinator Una Europa**
**80 % **:A division within the Office of the Vice President Research, UZH Research Development is the university-wide contact for overarching topics and policies in the area of research and its funding. We coordinate the university's research programs, research priorities and centres of competence, and we act as the point of contact for the Swiss National Science Foundation and for national and international research initiatives. UZH has recently joined Una Europa, an alliance of eleven leading research European universities which aims to shape the university of the future and build a shared inter-university campus by drawing on collective strengths Una Europa.

**Your responsibilities**: UZH Research Development is looking for a Research Manager to coordinate UZH activities within the thematic focus areas of Una Europa and cross-link them with the partner institutions' initiatives.

In this role you will:

- monitor the thematic Una Europa research focus areas and the involved UZH members and support the further development of research and teaching activities in these areas.
- be in constant exchange and collaborate closely with other university units engaged in Una Europa as well as the research coordinators at the partner institutions.
- participate in collaboration and innovation projects and in the corresponding working groups.
- support communication measures of the research focus areas on a regional, national and international level, with the aim of increasing UZH's visibility in these areas.
- support the Vice President Research in her function as Research Strategy Lead and take over tasks in the preparation of proposals and position papers.
- actively represent UZH at international network meetings (general assemblies) and Una Europa events.

**Your profile**:

- In addition to a master's or ideally PhD degree, you have practical research skills and/or professional experience in the European higher education sector.
- You are a proactive personality who is willing to get familiar with new tasks independently.
- You focus on solutions and are able to implement challenging projects with different stakeholders in a timely manner.
- You appreciate the exchange with different stakeholders and communicate in a way that is geared to the relevant target group. Working with people from various backgrounds enriches your day and you love talking to and presenting in front of various audiences.
- You are open-minded and service-oriented, bring an interest to work in an international network and a willingness to participate in international meetings.
- You are interested in research funding, university management and science policy in an international environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English and good German language skills are required.
