As the Head of On-site Fan Experience you will manage the On-site Fan Experience functional area in close collaboration with the Organising Committees, stakeholders and IOC departments.

**Main responsibilities**

The On-site Fan Experience (OFX) functional area aims at making the Olympic Games more inclusive, more innovative, and more experiential. In this context, the Head of OFX will:
Oversee the planning and delivery of key on-site initiatives targeting fans
- Establish a collaboration model with the Olympic Games Organising Committees (OCOGs) fostering co-creation and collaboration, acting as key interface between the IOC and OCOGs on the topic of on-site fan experience
- Oversee all key on-site initiatives targeting fans, from development to delivery, in close collaboration with the OCOGs. This includes the live sites, stakeholders houses, lifestyle festivals, mass events, sport initiation in the city, and other new initiatives
- Ensure a seamless integration of the on-site and digital experiences by working closely with the Digital Engagement & Marketing team
- Leverage best practices from the sport and entertainment industry in fan/customer experience

Represent the spectators and visitors as Olympic Games stakeholder group
- Act as the representative of spectators and visitors in all Games planning and delivery forums
- Oversee the spectators and visitors journey, from the services (e.g. accommodation, transport, etc.) to the information (e.g. newsletters, guides, etc.) and any other touchpoint
- Manage both quantitative and qualitative research around fan experience, in collaboration with IOC Departments

Manage the coordination and monitoring of the function
- Establish a yearly plan and budget for the OFX function area
- Drive to the development of OFX reference documentation (e.g. guides, milestones, service levels, etc.)
- Provide progress reports to the decision-making structures as required (e.g. Executive Board, Session, etc.)
- Manage the relationships with advisors as required
- Support, and when necessary replace, the Head of Strategy & Development in key Olympic Games forums
- Ensure the documentation of key learnings as well as archiving of key reference documents enabling an appropriate transfer of knowledge between OCOGs

Contribute to the delivery of the Olympic Games Department strategic objectives
- Manage working groups and participate in specific meetings aimed at enhancing the experiences offered to fans
- Find synergies and share best practices on the topic of fan experience between the Olympic Games, Youth Olympic Games, and Olympic Qualifier Series
- Support the Olympic Games Executive Director and Head of Strategy & Development and deal with various projects/files as directed by them

**Our requirements**
- Higher education qualification or equivalent (master’s/bachelor’s degree)
- At least ten years’ professional experience in the design and planning of fan/customer facing experiences in the sport or entertainment industry; previous professional experience within an OCOG or an International Federation a strong asset
- Good knowledge of the digital engagement ecosystem
- Ability to develop impactful presentations and pitch decks
- Fluent int English (excellent oral and written skills), capability and motivation to learn French (if not already known)
- Excellent command of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent relationship-building skills, charisma and leadership
- Ability to collaborate with key partners to gain their commitment and support
- Creativity and drive for innovation
- Proven ability to lead teams in dynamic and multicultural environments and support implementation of efficient decision-making
- Rigorous professional ethics; sense of confidentiality and ability to communicate information in an appropriate way
