Area Sales Manager Automation and Telecommunication

Based in Baden, Switzerland, you'll play a key role in collaborating with Transmission System Operators, Offshore Wind developers, EPC Contractors, and Hitachi Energy's Front End and Geographical Sales team across Europe and other international markets.
As a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with strong communication skills, you'll be responsible for promoting and positioning our Automation and Communication Systems within assigned accounts. Your flair for sales and ability to build strong relationships will be instrumental in securing large-scale projects, particularly in the exciting realm of offshore wind. **Your responsibilities**- Achieve sales and growth targets within the assigned markets and accounts, including pipeline development, management, and forecasting.-
- Lead cross functional teams/capture teams to present a competitive, differentiated solution and bids to customers.-
- Define bid pricing, positioning, and channel strategies.-
- Lead technical and commercial discussion, negotiations and deal closing.-
- Proactively position systems, solutions and new technology through customer seminars and workshops using the Presales resources.-
- Maintain excellent relationship with key players in the allocated market - End Customers, EPCs, Front End and Geographic Sales etc.-
- Gather market information to ensure updated market knowledge for planning and implementing appropriate market strategies-
- Support development of business strategies and sales and growth plans for the Offshore Wind business**Your background**- Electrical /Electronics Engineering background with at least 10 years sales experience in the Utility Sector, Offshore Wind projects experience will be an advantage-
- Strong knowhow in the field of Substation Automation, Control and Protection-
- Conversant with commercial aspects of contracts in export business-
- Proven sales record in the systems business in power grid automation will be an advantage-
- Know-how of telecommunications Systems-
- Result-oriented, customer focused with strong interpersonal skills-
- Self-driven with strong initiative, team player with ability to manage external and internal stakeholders-
- Fluent communication skills both written and spoken English, every additional language would be a plus**Basic Info**
