Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
- As part of Global Supply Chain Management, Global Procurement is responsible for the strategic category and supplier management of all indirect categories. Under consideration of innovation, cost, quality and availability we strive to develop procurement to a competitive advantage for METTLER TOLEDO. To support our team in a project, we are looking for our operational headquarter in Greifensee, Zürich for an Intern Global Procurement (f/m/d) 100% for 9 - 12 months.
- In this role, your responsibilities would include:

- You will implement concrete supplier benchmarks for different categories
- together with our category teams
- You contribute to different strategic projects together with the category and management teams (e.g. Implement Global Supply Agreement, Develop a Total Cost of Ownership, Define a concept to have a more resilient Supplier Chain)
- You are going to support category teams in different topics for example in Supplier Management, Supplier Development, Data Cleansing, Supplier Portfolio etc.
- Last but not least you contribute in execution holistic cable management projects (global and cross unit)

What You Need to Succeed
- You have at least a bachelor's degree with a business and/or a technical background in order to understand specifications in a wide field of electronics
- You are fluent in English combined with proactive communication skills and are able to work in a cross-functional and multinational environment
- You are a precise and structured person with a high attention to data quality and with a good understanding of processes/workflows
