**Job Description**:
**KEPPEL MET Renewables **(“KMR”) is a joint venture between Keppel Infrastructure and MET Group that invests, develops, operates, and manages high-performance grid-scale renewable energy assets across Western
- and Southern Europe, the Nordics, and the United Kingdom. By leveraging the extensive expertise of its industry leading strategic partners, KMR can effectively accelerate the growth of its renewables and low carbon energy infrastructure asset portfolio.

**Primary Objective**
KMR is developing and constructing a 1 GW, geographically and technologically diversified, portfolio of operating and ready-to-build solar PV and onshore wind renewable energy assets.

**Essential responsibilities**
- Own, drive and lead
- the identification and maintenance of a network of pan-European external legal advisors
- the identification, mitigation, and management of legal risks with respect to the operation and expansion of the renewable energy portfolio
- the development and management of internal corporate affairs and corporate governance procedures
- the legal integration of newly acquired renewable assets
- compliance with internal governance framework and corporate approvals policies, internal housekeeping and document management practices
- Support M&A transactions in the various jurisdictions across Western
- and Southern-Europe, the Nordics, the UK, and Poland
- Provide legal support throughout the development and construction stages of renewable energy projects from acquisition to the commencement of operations
- Advise on existing legal, regulatory, and commercial matters, as well as provide creative, innovative, and sound legal advice on, and solutions to, issues affecting the business and portfolio of assets
- Identifying existing gaps and implementing solutions and improvements to work processes, in order to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk
- Communication with and management of the work of local legal advisors
- Draft, review and advise on NDAs, LOIs, NBOs, SPAs and other project acquisition, development, construction, and O&M contracts

**Qualifications**:

- Legal degree from a tier 1 law school, LLM from a UK or other common law jurisdiction is highly desirable
- 7-8 years’ experience in the renewable energy industry, in-house experience an advantage
- Experience in M&A transactions, with demonstrable ability to independently negotiate highly structured M&A deals and support project development processes
- Native Italian or Spanish, with an excellent command of English (ability to draft contracts in English)
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit with sound understanding of investment analysis, revenue generation, and cost optimization, with a balanced approach to risk-reward
- Experience in managing complex project development cycles with aggressive targets and short deadlines
- Capability to work autonomously, with limited supervision, in an exciting, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environment
- Excellent analytical and synthesis, problem solving & decision-making skills
- Results-oriented, highly motivated, with a solid hands-on work ethic
