**Position Summary**
The Global Product Manager Smilecloud is responsible for commercialization of Straumann Smilecloud Solutions - a diverse portfolio comprising clinical software, patient-specific design ser-vices and integrated digital dentistry workflows. This position will play a key role in developing the next generation of Straumann digital services, supporting the long-term strategic aspirations of the fast-growing Connected Customer Solutions (CCS).

The Global Product Manager Smilecloud reports directly to the Global Business Manager Inter-disciplinary, and is a highly collaborative role that works closely with the sales regions / countries, other Straumann business units, and the CCS Product Management Team. The role is global in scope, based either in Basel (Switzerland) or Madrid (Spain), and requires significant presence in the countries.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Build and execute the global strategy and roadmap for the Smilecloud portfolio including portfolio planning, marketing campaigns and global roll out.
- Map and continuously monitor the customer journey for Straumann Smilecloud solutions. Work closely with the development and commercial teams to optimize the customer experience.
- Lead the clinical workflow integration for Straumann Smilecloud Solutions. Collect customer feedback and work closely with customers, other product managers and various software teams to continuously optimize all aspects of the workflow including UI / UX.
- Interact with customers and countries on a regular basis to gain deep insight on product usage and performance in comparison to competitive solutions.
- Analyse market trends and customer needs, and translate them into product development across all elements of the assigned Smilecloud portfolio.
- Drive adoption and expansion of Straumann digital services globally, working closely with colleagues in the countries to support commercialization activities
- Create and implement new business models to lower barriers to entry and drive market penetration, adoption and long term profitability of Straumann Digital Services.
- Collaborate with a wide group of internal and external stakeholders concerning product launch, development and commercialization
- Responsible for global launch readiness across all aspects for market release, including regulatory approval, product availability, technical content for promotion material

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in life sciences, engineering or business.
- Minimum 5 years total professional work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience and proven success in product management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the medical device or dental industry
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of digital solutions in dentistry
- Experience in managing product development projects from concept to launch preferred
- Fluent in English; other languages are an asset
- Comfortable with up to 20-40% travel
