Associate Medical Manager

**Summary**:
Location: Rotkreuz, Switzerland #LI-Hybrid The position: The Associate/Junior Medical Manager will work under the supervision of the Medical Manager to support the scientific engagement with key Medical Experts & key stakeholders in the health care system in connection to the Novartis Priority Brands. Externally, they will assist in executing and implementing clinical and educational strategies and responding to medical inquiries. Internally they will contribute to the strategic planning and x-functional, hands-on execution of those plans. This position is part of the Medical Affairs & CSO team and reports directly into the Medical Lead Oncology.

**About the Role**:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Assisting in engaging with Medical Experts (MEs) to educate on medical/scientific information
- Contributing to the identification/mapping of MEs/ Key Accounts including identification of opportunities to involve MEs when a specific medical need is identified to provide support
- Contributing to the development and execution of ME & key stakeholder engagement & activity plans to effectively prioritize and strategically engage MEs aligned with country strategy
- Responding to unsolicited requests for information from MEs
- Contributing to the collection of impactful, actionable insights from MEs to inform and shape medical strategy
- Collaborating on local brand strategic & tactical planning & execution
- Supporting Novartis clinical research programs, optimizing trial execution and providing scientific educational support to potential and actual study sites in collaboration with clinical operations.
- Contributing to the facilitation upon request Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) & initiating other research projects processes as appropriate
- Identifying joint value creation with key scientific leaders, other partners in the healthcare system including patient associations Assisting in the coordination of top-level, impactful scientific events, exchanges and medical education

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- University degree MD, PharmD, Pharmacist, PhD and other life sciences with solid medical/ technical background
- Business fluent in English and business fluent in German or French, very good knowledge of the other language
- 1-3 years Pharma experience in a similar role or other similar experience, ideally with knowledge in the scientific areas Oncology / Hematology
- Knowledge of all aspects of drug development, GCP and local regulations
- Good analytical & communications skills and planning skills
