Internship Manufacturing Scientist

Job Description**
About This Role**Based in the new state-of-the-art Solothurn biologics drug substance manufacturing facility, the Process Sciences Laboratory group within the Manufacturing Sciences (MS) department provides key technical expertise to manufacturing processes at the site. We are looking for an intern for a duration of 6 months to prepare, perform, evaluate and document bioprocessing laboratory experiments under the supervision of a Process Scientist.
**What You’ll Do**You will be responsible for performing lab-based activities under the supervision of a Process Sciences scientist and in compliance with relevant EHS directives. You will ensure that all laboratory work and related activities are completed in a timely manner according to established performance expectations and procedures.
1. Prepare and execute laboratory experiments
2. Ensure timely and clear communication of experimental results and potential issues to supervising scientists
3. Document experimental data in accordance with laboratory procedures and guidelines
4. Analyze experimental data with multivariate techniques
5. Communicate findings to other process scientists and other functions within the company.
Qualifications**
Required Skills**:
- Enrolled in or completed a BSc or MSc degree in Natural Sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology or closely related field
**Preferred Skills**
- First lab experience in academic courses or industry environment (1-2 years).
