First Line of Defense Frameworks Framework and Risk

**Your field of responsibility**
Join us as part of the First Line of Defense Support (FLDS) Frameworks and Risk Assessment team for Wealth Management Division. As a division central team, you work closely with risk owners on the Business Risk and Processes Support teams to proactively advise and support Business Area FLDS teams across all locations including APAC, EMEA and LatAM on First line of Defense framework and risk assessment matters. You have also frequent interactions with Second Line of Defense and other control functions within the Bank e.g. Non-Financial Risk, Coverage Compliance, FLDS Controls Assurance, and you establish and maintain a strong and efficient network. You actively contribute to WM-wide controls related projects, and to perform deep-dives, identify weaknesses and suggest improvements to the overall risk framework of the division. Specifically, you are responsible for supervisory controls framework and will need to design, enhance, and implement frameworks that improve the supervisory control landscape. You will need to be familiar with our bank’s commitment to the US monitor and drive the design and implementation of the Challenger Supervisory Controls across all top key non-financial risks by collaborating closely with our Business Risk and Process team. At the same time, implement the supervisory controls in a consistent manner across all business area globally within Wealth Management division.

**Your skills and experience**
We search for an open-minded person, with the ability to perform excellent stakeholder management. You show a high degree of flexibility, the ability to cope with pressure and short deadlines, with a strong focus on quality. You are a team player with strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a can-do attitude and a structured, solution-oriented approach. We are looking for an experienced Risk Manager who possesses the following:
- At least 5-7 years of relevant professional experience within a risk management function, ideally within the Private Banking and Wealth Management industry (Credit Suisse know how would be an advantage)
- High proficiency in written and spoken English is a must, given requirement for regular interaction with Global stakeholders.
- Experience working with international, multicultural stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with key senior stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance strongly preferred.
- Any other qualification in operational risk management will be an advantage
- High degree of flexibility and autonomy, ability to work under pressure and cope with short deadlines with a strong focus on quality
- Mindset of team player with strong analytical skills, combined with a can-do attitude and a structured, solution-oriented approach
