**OVERSEAS POSITION**

Maternity Nurse

**LOCATION**

Amman, Jordan
The Client will arrange the work visa and relocation if not local

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

The Maternity Nurse will ensure the well-being of both the mother and baby during the crucial postpartum period, providing expert care, guidance, and support to help the family transition smoothly into parenthood.

**QUALIFICATIONS / LICENSES / SKILLS**

Minimum 5 years experience
Degree in maternity / midwife / pediatric / NICU /
Maternity & newborn nursing certificate
Fluent in English
Willingness to travel with the family

**DUTIES**
- Physical care of the child
- Communicating with parents on all aspects of the care of the child
- Caring for the child when they are unwell, which may include administering medicine and taking them to the doctor if necessary and with the consent of parents
- Travelling with the child and preparing for holidays, weekend visits, etc.
- Being responsible for all equipment related to the care of the child, including the cleaning and maintenance of items such as sterilizers, buggies, car seats, etc.
- Cleaning and tidying the accommodation provided for the nanny
- Nurse is expected to be responsible for the baby throughout the night including feeding from the bottle
- Seeking the possibility of someone who is willing to work 19 hours a day and 7 days a week (negotiable)

**START DATE**

Start by end of January 2025 for 3, 6 or 9 months (must be flexible in the term)

**SALARY**

Negotiable depending on experience and continuous availability
