Regional Investment Manager (w/m/d) Parttime/Fulltime

In this senior role as a direct report to the Head Investment Management Market Units, you will be responsible for a set of dedicated market units from an investment management perspective, and you will cover all aspects of an active and ad hoc account management. You act in between the Group Chief Investment Office, the Investment Solution Design team (i.e., ALM/ SAA/ TAA/ Overlays/ Mandates), and the local investment committees to oversee and implement the investment decisions according to Helvetia's investment guidelines and evolving market trends.

**Your responsibility**
- Responsible for a dedicated set of market units and subsidiaries of Helvetia Group, to collaborate closely and implement all investment strategy and investment solution tasks on behalf of the Chief Investment Officer together with the local investment committees (specific market units will be allocated based on experience/ language proficiency, and market unit size)
- Represent the Helvetia investment strategy and perspective in the local investment committee and actively bring in new investment ideas and opportunities
- Regularly analyze group investment opportunities for your specific market units. You have a thorough understanding of the local investment requirements and constraints, risk, tax, regulatory, solvency and accounting aspects of your specific market unit
- Allocate investment risk exposures down to local market unit level, both for the strategic and tactical asset allocation process and mandate/ fund definitions and selections
- Liaise actively with the local subsidiary key contact persons to identify investment challenges and opportunities, and find tailored solutions together with the respective market unit and Asset Management experts and capabilities
- Act as key contact for your given market units and coordinate a broad set of areas of expertise within the Helvetia investment organization, including the successful structuring and implementation of investment solutions and mandates according to the market unit needs

**Your qualification**
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field on a Bachelor or Master level. CFA, FRM or actuarial designation are a plus
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in asset management within an institutional client or preferably insurance investment function
- Strong account management and investment solution mindset when dealing with professional investors, senior executive management, and large institutional investment accounts
- Strive for excellence in your own area of responsibility with a determination to continuously enhance the account and market unit management investment processes
- Actively contribute to achieving the overall objectives of the Investment Team
- Self-starter mentality and strong team player with a flexible though structured approach and working style
- Strong communication skills and fluent in German and English (verbal and written), additional languages such as Spanish/ Italian and French are considered a plus
